There’s a wonderfully delicious trend happening out there, it’s the s’mores charcuterie board.

So before we dive into the possibilities, let’s talk about the word charcuterie. Charcuterie is the arranging and preparing of cured meats, cheeses and finger foods on a platter or board. It’s has truly made a comback in the last few years. They can be simple boards that you serve with other appetizers or they can be extremely fancy that becomes the main course and fits the length of a table.

Here’s the wonderful thing about this trend you can make the boards sweet, savory or both.

I had an opportunity to do a television segment on using this same idea, but the inspiration for my board was s’mores.

It was the ultimate s’mores charcuterie board. There’s something on this board for the whole family, even for the non chocolate lovers, like my white chocolate and strawberry s’mores, to die for. You can use cookies, pretzels, other candy bars outside of the standard chocolate bar. I went with white chocolate, caramel and peanut butter cups. I also used Nutella as a spread over my marshmallows, the possibilities are endless.
