The holidays are full of joy, celebration, and moments we want to hold onto. But they can also come with long to-do lists, endless cooking, and the pressure to create the perfect experience. Over the years, I’ve learned that the most memorable gatherings aren’t the ones where I spent all day in the kitchen—they’re the ones where I was fully present with the people I love.
That’s why I’m sharing some of my favorite 3-ingredient holiday recipes. These dishes are simple, elegant, and full of flavor. They help you entertain beautifully without sacrificing your time or your peace. Mix and match them for parties, family nights, or last-minute guests. They’re that easy.

Herb Cream Cheese Crescent-Wrapped Italian Sausage Bites
Warm, comforting, and always the first to disappear. These savory bites feel special without requiring hours in the kitchen.
Ingredients
• Italian link sausage (fully cooked), sliced into bite-size pieces

1. Prep the Sausage:
Slice the sausage into small bite-size pieces. If it isn’t fully cooked, prepare it according to the package instructions and let it cool.
2. Prep the Dough:
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Cut each triangle into smaller strips or squares—just large enough to wrap each sausage piece.
3. Assemble:
• Spread a small amount of herb cream cheese onto each piece of dough.
• Place a sausage bite on top.
• Wrap the dough around the sausage and seal the edges.
4. Bake:
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
5. Serve Warm:
Simple, festive, and perfect for holiday nibbling.

Who doesn’t love a simple charcuterie board? Choose any three elements and build from there. I used cheeses, nuts, and olives, but you could easily do fruit, cheese, and crackers. I also love grabbing a cheese variety pack—it keeps me within my three-ingredient rule while still giving my guests plenty of delicious options.

And of course, I didn’t forget dessert. A simple cookie platter made with buttery store-bought Madeleines, melted white chocolate, and festive Christmas sprinkles is the perfect sweet finish to my 3-ingredient holiday entertaining menu.
